How to solve the problem of digital jump in instrument display during weighing
When you are using the weighbridge, have you ever seen the figures on the weighbridge jump around? What is the cause? After years of accumulated experience of our technicians, there are several factors that may lead to digital jump.
1. Unstable power supply voltage
The input voltage range of the weighbridge instrument is 187v~242V. If the regulated power supply is not added, which causes the instrument to exceed the normal operating voltage range, the digital jump will occur. Therefore, it is better to configure a stable power supply voltage.
2. The junction box is affected by water and moisture
Open the junction box to check whether there is water or moisture. The fault can be eliminated by drying in the sun or drying with a hair dryer. If it is still not used, ask a professional to replace the junction box.
3. The circuit board in the junction box is damaged.
The circuit board in the junction box is composed of a terminal box and several groups of multi turn resistors. The long-term use of the terminal leads to oxidation and corrosion, and the oxidation and corrosion parts at the connector fall off, which leads to the looseness of the pressure wire, thus causing the digital jump of the instrument.
4. Main line problem of weighbridge
The distance between some weighbridge bodies and instruments is too large, and there are exposed parts on the main line, which may be trampled by people, bitten by rats, the metal shielding is ineffective, the connection is poorly contacted, and other problems may cause the digital jump. Measure the main line with multimeter resistance gear to ensure that each strand is an independent channel and the wiring is firm, otherwise replace the main line.
5. Sensor damaged
Open the junction box, use the DC millivolt gear of the multimeter to check whether the output signal of the sensor is normal. If it is abnormal, separate each sensor and test it separately to check whether the baud rate of each sensor is normal and whether the sensor is damaged. If it is detected that the sensor is abnormal or damaged, replace the sensor.
6. Wiring problems
Check whether there is a problem with the wiring of each sensor. If there is a problem, call the professional maintenance personnel for communication.
7. Whether the plug or socket is oxidized
Long term use of the instrument and the main plug or socket may also cause oxidation, making the connection resistance unstable.
