How to maintain the electronic weighbridge in case of failure?
The weighbridge, also known as truck scale, has gradually changed from an old mechanical one to an electronic one. Now more and more people use electronic weighbridges. Now let's talk about the structure and working principle of the electronic weighbridge:
1. Structural composition
The electronic weighbridge is mainly composed of scales, weighing displays, weighing sensors, connectors, limiting devices, junction boxes and other parts. It can also be optionally equipped with large screen printing displays, computers, regulated power supplies and other external equipment.
2. Working principle
The weighed object or truck is placed on the surface of the carrier. Under the action of gravity, the weight is transmitted to the load cell through the carrier, causing the elastic body of the load cell to deform. The strain gauge bridge attached to the elastic body loses balance. The electrical signal in direct proportion to the weight value is output, and the signal is amplified by a linear amplifier. Then, it is converted into digital signal by A/D, and the weight data is directly displayed after the weight signal is processed by the microprocessor (CPU) of the display. After the printer is configured, the weighing data can be printed and recorded. If the computer is configured, the measuring data can be input into the computer management system for comprehensive management.
3. Maintenance of Electronic Weighbridge
If the electronic weighbridge fails to work, first find the cause of the failure according to the structure of the electronic weighbridge. The simplest way to judge whether the fault occurs in the load cell or the load display is to use the sensor simulator.
The load cell simulator is made according to the working principle of the resistance strain type load cell, which can simulate various loading states of the resistance strain type load cell. This simulator is similar to a DC standard voltage source and can provide analog voltage signals of various weighing ranges to the weighing display. The excitation voltage of the sensor simulator is derived from the bridge supply voltage of the weighing display, which is a passive signal generator. The sensor simulator can not only set and calibrate the counterweight display in the laboratory, but also timely find and find the cause of the fault on the site, so as to quickly eliminate the fault. It is an essential electronic weighbridge testing and maintenance equipment. Disconnect the signal cable between the junction box and the weighing display, plug the socket of the sensor simulator into the weighing display interface, turn on the power, and check whether the display works normally. If the display works normally, it indicates that the fault occurs in the weighing platform and is caused by the load cell or junction box. If the display does not work properly, it indicates that the fault is in the weighing display.
