Treatment process of truck scale after water inflow:
Top: Power failure.
Second: discharge water with pump quickly.
Third: After the water is drained and the rain stops, do not turn on the power first. Open the weighbridge junction box to see if there is water ingress. Use a hair dryer to dry it before starting. The water in the electronic truck scale will cause great damage to the scale body and all accessories. In addition to the above methods, it is also necessary to conduct an all-round inspection of the truck scale, and timely deal with any problems found. Now let's learn about the specific methods.
1. If the electronic truck scale is flooded, the external display of the weighing will be unstable. We should check the junction box. If the junction box is flooded, the signals of the weighing sensor will be sent out by the junction box, and the internal circuit of the junction box will be short circuited due to water accumulation, so the transmitted signals must be unstable; The best treatment method is to take down the junction box, dry the junction box with electric air, and try to see if it can be weighed normally. If it is still not possible, it is necessary to replace the junction box.
2. The difference between the four corners of the load cell will be too large when the water enters the load cell. If the load cell is soaked in water for a long time, the internal circuit of the load cell may also be damaged, resulting in excessive weighing errors; The handling method is: use a multimeter to measure one side of the load cell, and see which load cell is damaged. Generally speaking, the cost of repairing the load cell is relatively high, and the repair time is relatively long, so it is appropriate to directly replace it.
3. The influence of the external environment on the composition of the sensor is mainly in the following aspects. In a highly corrosive environment, such as moisture and acid, the elastomer of the sensor is damaged or short circuited. If the environment where the electronic truck scale is located is relatively harsh, the shell should be selected for plastic spraying or stainless steel shell junction box, and the weighing sensor with good corrosion resistance and airtightness should be selected.
