Common sense of standard weights
At present, the weights are divided into two classes and nine classes, including first class, second class, E1 class, E2 class, F1 class, F2 class, M1 class, M11 class, M2 class, M22 class and 0 class, according to the provisions of JJG99-1990 Weights. The weights are classified according to the grade:
1. First class standard measuring tools (weights) have two levels: ① first class standard weights. ② E1 and other standard weights. ③ E1 standard weight. ④ E2 and other standard weights. ⑤ E2 standard weight.
2. Second class standard measuring tools (weights) have first class and first class: ① Second class standard weights. ② F1 and other standard weights. ③ Class F1 standard weight.
3. Class III standard measuring tools (weights) have Class I: ① Class F2 standard weights. ② Class F2 standard weight.
4. Fourth class standard measuring tools (weights) have four levels: ① M1 class standard weights. ② M1 standard weight. ③ M11 and other standard weights. ④ M11 standard weight. ⑤ M2 and other standard weights. ⑥ M22 standard weight. ⑦ M22 and other standard weights. ⑧ M22 standard weight.
5. The fifth class measuring tools (weights) have one class: only one class 0 weight. Therefore, when people are used to the fifth class weights in the old rules, the above methods can be used to distinguish.
In addition, the new regulations only include standard weight (equal weight) and working weight (grade weight). The standard weight has a correction value, while the working weight has only a tolerance and no correction value. Weights are classified into 9 grades: E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M11, M2, M22, M3.
The weight specification grade (allowable error) of OIML [International Organization of Legal Weights and Measures] is shown in the following table:

The difference between equality and grade is that equality is classified according to uncertainty, that is, equal weights have correction values; Grades are divided according to the indication error, that is, the grade weight has no correction value, and it is considered qualified as long as its indication error is within this range.
